Hi ladies,
I've been posting on the June 2012 boards for awhile but I felt like I should be making my way over here as I near the end of second tri. I'm looking forward to trying to have a NB by taking the hypnobirthing classes (hopefully get some news on being able to attend classes tomorrow) but I'm nervous because I'll be giving birth in a military hospital.
If anyone has any experience with hypnobirthing or NB on a military installation your thoughts and comments are very welcome.
Thanks
Re: New here
Welcome! I don't have any personal experience with NB in a military hospital, but my good friend is a doula and attended a birth at Fort Campbell. I think it ended up being a positive experience.
I would recommend hiring a doula. They will help you cope and stay relaxed and they can help you deal with warding off those who try to push interventions on you.
Hi!
I just wanted to say hi to a fellow June mom! I think there are a few of us over here!
